A $7m design & fabrication firm specializing in turnkey restaurant interiors for corporate clients domestically and internationally with a focus on Central, South America & the Caribbean.
I was hired as an AutoCAD designer and realized that the company lacked marketing and sales materials. I promptly developed sales books and marketing materials and was rapidly promoted to Design Director/Marketing Manager managing a staff of 5 designers and responsible for overseeing all remodel & installation projects including bidding and winning a 12 location remodel project in the Bahamas worth over $1,000,000.
- Provided hands-on team leadership for the development of all aspects of the Front of House (FOH) furniture, decor, and service areas for corporate restaurant clients. Developed new revenue streams by adding print services to decor packages.
- Managed all design services and design department staff of 5 on projects including site surveys, space/seating plan development, FF&E specification, ceiling plans, elevations and other architectural & shop drawings for the manufacture and installation of custom fabricated FOH seating & decor packages, confidently working on 40 or more projects across many brands & scopes simultaneously.
- Provided remote and on-site project management for domestic and international clients for both remodel and new build furniture installations.
- Created and presented full interior design concepts for corporate clients, including YUM! Brands (KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut), Checkers, McDonald’s and Burger King Restaurants.
